Studio 10 is a working studio and art gallery. The gallery showcases paintings and sculptures ranging from abstract to realism. Sculpture works include materials in bronze, clay, and metal.
Augusto Brocca and Kathleen Wilson are the two resident artists who both paint and sculpt in the studio.
Featured artist, Augusto Brocca specializes in a diversity of subjects. He received his art and anthropology degrees from the University of Texas in Austin. Known for his large award winning iron and glass animal and aquatic sculptures, the Peruvian artist has been commissioned throughout the U.S., Peru, and Mexico. Brocca has won many first place and People's Choice awards due to his innovative designs. Some of Brocca's more recent commissions are three fish mosaic sculptures at the popular Eddie V's Restaurants in Austin and Arizona, a large mosaic mural at Baby Acapulco's, and three large mosaic murals at the West Lynn Corner Store in Austin, Texas. His oil and acrylic paintings are in many private collections.
Kathleen Wilson studied sculpture at the Elisabet Ney Sculpture Conservatory in Austin, Texas. Wilson received her B.S. degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in Austin. The artist has exhibitied her sculpture at the Austin- Bergstrom International Airport, and has been commissioned for her abstract sculpture in private sculpture gardens in the U.S. Wilson's paintings have been published in Origin Magazine and Southwestern Art Magazine.
